Video Sharing

I was just kinda sitting around and kicking some ideas around that would hopefully spark the interest of some of my faithful clients and came up with something I think you will enjoy. If you're anything like me, I'm sure you belong to at least one of those online communities to keep up with your old buddies from school or work or maybe you're there to meet new people. Whatever the reason that impels you to visit these sites, wouldn't it be great if you could share your wedding or portrait slideshow with them?

I have been able to get codes to place your slideshows on all the popular sites such as MySpace, FaceBook, Tagged, My Yearbook, BlackPlanet, and FanBox.

Now Imagine that. You now have the ability to post your favorite portraits as videos on your own online profile pages! Be sure to ask for your very own code so you can get your sideshows posted.

Hurricane Season Again?

I don't know how many of you have been keeping up with the most recent hurricane news, but so far this year, it doesn't look to be a peaceful time in the Gulf. New Orleans (and my family) has been impacted once again by a major storm as well as the Houston area (and more of my family) and other areas around the gulf coast. Gas prices are up and there's frustration among the entire country since hurricanes affect us all no matter where we live.

As I sit and watch the weather reports about stats and damage, it gets kind of depressing all over again so what better way to lift anyone's spirit than to have a portrait taken? If you've watched the news stories on TV, you hear all the stories about how one person after another has gone in the midst of a severe storm, to retrieve their precious photos. Why, of all things you could save, does one instinctively go after their photos? It's because that's where all the memories are! Our photos truly represent a place in time where we once were. They represent happy times forever etched in our minds and are a constant reminder of all our loved ones, living, and those who have since left us.

Well what better way to get past an otherwise gloomy ordeal? Create more of the memories mentioned in the previous paragraph! Here are just a few "quick and dirty" pics that I shot really quickly to bring even a little happiness to an otherwise, dismal time.
